Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) program is facing a major crisis. A widespread fraud investigation has led to a wave of provider terminations, pending shutdowns, and major cuts to federal funding. While the crackdown targets bad actors, thousands of vulnerable clients—seniors, people with disabilities, and those at risk of homelessness—are being caught in the crossfire.

Make a Difference in Your Own Community
As a Community Ally, you’ll gain access to a monthly training webinar hosted on Google Meet, designed to teach you practical ways to reduce homelessness and strengthen housing stability in your personal environment.
Your $25 also goes directly toward transportation support for clients — helping them attend housing appointments, job interviews, or essential services.
What You Receive:

Help Clients Overcome Obstacles
As a Goal Builder, you’ll directly support clients facing financial instability and barriers to progress. Instead of giving money to clients directly, you’ll use our Notion database to view anonymized client profiles — including their current goals, documented obstacles, and specific monetary needs.
You choose where to make an impact, while maintaining client privacy. Funds are applied to remove those obstacles, creating measurable, lasting change.
What You Receive:

Support Long-Term Stability & Crisis Prevention
As a Stability Partner, you’ll take a more personal role in helping clients retain housing and avoid crises such as eviction or utility shut-offs. After choosing a client story and set of obstacles to support, you’ll be invited to meet the client virtually through Google Meet (with client consent).
You’ll also have access to track their Individual Service Plans in Notion and view logged service hours in AxisCare, so you can see the direct impact of your sponsorship.
What You Receive:

Become a Client’s Mentor & Accountability Partner
As a Wall of Protection sponsor, you’ll form a deeper mentor/mentee relationship with a client. ClearCare will coordinate a schedule for you and the client to connect regularly (via Google Meet or OpenPhone) based on mutual preferences.
You’ll play a role in holding the client accountable, celebrating milestones, and providing encouragement. With client consent, you’ll also be able to view their individual service plans, intervention strategies, and action plans in Notion, as well as track services delivered through AxisCare.
What You Receive:
